I don't know if any non-LJers ever wish they could comment here without the hassle of setting up an account, but now they can. I was just reviewing all my settings (I don't think I'd revisited those since day one) and changed it so unregistered people can comment on my public posts. They won't appear instantly, though; I have to approve them first. So any lurkers out there feel free to comment from now on.

Just wanted to say

That i just watched born to run for the first time. I'm a new fan, just got the dvds and just finished watching the series. I'm so sad that it has ended and it made me want to cry with all the potential stories out there for season 3. I wish this show would come back and hope that it will, someday.

Thank you.

Yay for a new fan! But I totally share your sadness. Even more than a year after Born to Run aired, I still really miss The Sarah Connor Chronicles. We've done a lot to push for a continuation of it, though, and hope is very much alive. I think we will get more.

Nothing new completed, no. The one that's closest to completion is actually a Cameron and John video, which is certainly a departure for me! I wouldn't call it jamerony though because it doesn't exactly embrace the relationship in a sincere way. Also, Sarah gets the last word ;)

I should try to get that one finished soon because I have too many in the works!

NOW you change settings, I “did” join just to post, and because lurking was starting to creep me out, I felt like a stalker! O_o

But aren't you glad you have an account and can actually post with a user name with icons and everything? That's way better than posting anonymously! I didn't even realize I hadn't friended you on here, so I just did.

It made me almost as sad to watch and see all these unexplored storylines as Monk, which ran for 8 seasons and tied everything up nicely.

Yes! I have wanted to comment, but did not want to open an account.

Biggest question/comment:
Will you be finishing the Sarah Connor Comicals? They were AWESOME.

Hi Trinigirl! I remember you :)

People ask me that a lot and for months I've been saying I'm going to pick up where I left off with the Comicals. Then I never get to it. I think I just spread myself too thin. But yes, I really do want to do them again. I even have some of the panels planned out for Today is the Day part 1 and most of the panels already finished for Adam Raised a Cain (I worked on that one out of order for some reason).

Savethescc is basically going to be done with campaigning once Comic Con is over, so I'll have a bit more free time. And I think I really will get back to the Comicals!

Sarah Connor I is... Chuck's Mom???

Saw this from one of my fave TV reviewers. Linda Hamilton is slated to play Chuck's mom (on Chuck, of course) next season:

http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-alan-watching/posts/comic-con-chuck-s-mom-is-linda-hamilton

I find this annoying, but I'm not sure quite why. At this point, Lena is SC to me, so it shouldn't bother me at all.

Maybe because Chuck, a show I could never get into, survived some really dismal ratings, while SCC, the best fucking SF show of All Time, did not?

The only thing that annoys me about Linda Hamilton joining Chuck is that it caused her to drop out of Dragon*Con. I'm going to that and she was the main person I was looking forward to seeing! But I like Chuck, so I'll be looking forward to seeing her on it.

I know what you mean, though. TSCC got fucked over then cast aside by Fox while lesser shows continue to be nurtured on other networks. Fox simply didn't understand the show so they didn't have a clue how to grow the audience. I'm still sad and I'm still bitter.

Long time lurker, first time post-er.

Just haven't been peer pressured into joining LJ yet, I guess. Found out about you when the SCC official blog mentioned the Comicals. I've enjoyed keeping up with your creations and the drives over at Save the SCC. Gotta say I loved the WTF vid. A prevailing critique of the show was that there wasn't enough Fing, right? Well, we got it now!

Hi Lauren :)

The producers and writers of the show really were very interactive with fans. It was fun. *sigh* You make me long for the gold old days when SCC was still on the air and there was still an official blog. Actually, I long for those good old days daily ;)

And yes... TSCC definitely needed some sexing up! Derek and Jesse don't count since I hated them as a couple :P

Hi Lauren! I hope Roxy doesn't mind me sticking my $.02 in. Fox surely F'd us fans, writers, cast, etc.
Broadcast TV does have it's limitations. Fan fiction does not. Our friend Caroline has written some great TSCC fan fiction, beginning here: http://cj2017.livejournal.com/3251.html#cutid1
She goes as far as NC-17 as one progresses through her stories. Knock your socks off.

If this show is ever resurrected, I would be ecstatic to support her inclusion in the writer's room.
