I stubbed my brain on this one. By the time I figured out what you meant, the funny had leaked out of it, but I agree!

I found myself tripping on unimportant things in the fic, too, but had the good sense not to comment yet, until I read it again (later today) in better mind for recognizing the big picture. I'm finding it difficult to keep track of what alternate universe I'm in; who's supposed to be dead, etc, and what everyone has been up to. This is apparently what it's like to get old.
