Fic Alert

If you follow [livejournal.com profile] cj2017's TSCC fic (and really, you'd be an Ellison not to), then today is the day you've been waiting for... NEW FIC POSTED! It totally rocks.

I'd leave you a smile just for that fabulous icon, but thanks for the shout-out too :-)

I've had that icon holstered for a while, thinking I'd use it for food related comments or something, but then Sarah nomming a sandwich usually ends up winning that choice. There's just too much fab Sarah, I tell ya!

ITA. The Sarah-centric 20 in 20 icon set just posted is particularly lovely.

That totally made me ROTFL. LOL!

hehehe. I thought that was rather clever of me ;)

The curse of literal sticklerism...

"you'd be an Ellison not too(sic)" ...to follow cj's fiction.
I stubbed my brain on this one. By the time I figured out what you meant, the funny had leaked out of it, but I agree!
{Sponges up the funny, and squeezes it back into a drinking glass...) Cheers, and thanks for the announcement.

So my typo ruined the joke? Damn it.

LOL. Fixed.

Much better. When you use the right word in a joke? Much better. (That, and this reader needed a good night's sleep!)

I found myself tripping on unimportant things in the fic, too, but had the good sense not to comment yet, until I read it again (later today) in better mind for recognizing the big picture. I'm finding it difficult to keep track of what alternate universe I'm in; who's supposed to be dead, etc, and what everyone has been up to. This is apparently what it's like to get old.
