Yeah, that's definitely my favorite deleted scene. Usually it's obvious why deleted scenes are deleted scenes, but I don't know why they cut that. Something that important should've been on screen. At least it's on the DVD, though. Now I can watch Derek throw dirt on old!Fisher over and over again.

Ah yes, the crucial *shovelling* scene! In which BAG gets to demonstrate his dramatic chops opposite that most compelling of scene partners: dirt. And a shovel.

That scene would've been on his Emmy reel, had it not been cut for time. I bet he's still bitter.

Ironically, I HATED that scene. I hated it cause Derek would NOT be so stupid as to bury him that shallow. A decent rain would expose the body pretty damn fast.

Yeah, except for the first deleted scene with Cameron and John (ironic since I hate Jameron) in the bedroom from TTITBTFIS, I was rather disappointed in the deleted scenes this time around. It couldn't be from the lack of Lena, now could it? ;D Whereas in the first season, I was literally agape at the deleted/extended scene from The Pilot when Sarah talks to Cameron as she's being sewn up - such kick ass acting from Lena!

But, we got more Lena in the gag reel in S2, so I kinda take it as a balancing effect for the so-so list of S2 deleted scenes.

Still not got the set. But I know damn well that the deleted scene from Lighthouse where Sarah takes in all of her wounds - old and new and finds the lump in her breast didn't make the discs. I know there's a chance it was written and not shot, but that's certainly not the way the blog wrote about it at the time of the episode. I guess there just wasn't enough Jameron in the scene... and by the gods, the discs certainly sound like they need more Jameron.
