It's probably too late for neutering.
Perhaps a little known NASA service called "Cats in Space"...

Actually, it's a female cat and she's spayed. But she scented me! I didn't even know female cats did that.

I thought marking (or spraying) was a male thing.
Did you come home with the scent of another cat on you?
