Sarah is the wizard

"This is it. There's nothing else behind the curtain. This is what I do, it's all I do."
— Sarah to Ellison in Mr Ferguson is Ill Today.

Sarah is the wizard and she's trying desperately to get Dorothy (John) home again (a normal life).

I've always assumed future!John was the man behind the curtain because he's pulling the strings from the future. But that line from Mr Ferguson has been stuck in my mind ever since that episode. With all the Wizard of Oz references, that couldn't possibly just be a throw-away line. It has meaning. And before that, in Goodbye to All That, we had Sarah reading the Wizard of Oz and (I think) coming to the realization that John is essentially Dorothy. Until the wicked witch is dead — until his fate is changed, he can never truly be free to live his life.

So even while future!John is the one sending back missions (messages to his mom from the future), it's Sarah who's in the position to actually change things. She's the one who has the power to alter the future and everything she does either gets John a step closer to his fate or a step closer to "home".

How true, how true Roxy! Sarah can and is trying her damnest to make her own fate to change the future John's outcome. I like this whacky theory!

Yes, garyinla is the Gary that posts on the blog - (Gary, please correct me if I'm totally wrong!:) He's a really nice guy that I spent eight hours in line with at the last Golden Apple SCC signing. And I always applaud his efforts to battle the dark side! :) I do still post on the SCC blog to also do the same, but lately, it's really gotten me pissed off to even go on there, so I don't post as often as I want to.

Gosh, thanks! I'm blushing. That was a fun day at the Golden Apple. Long wait but it was worth it! We had the best seats, didn't we? It was fun to meet everyone hanging out there with us too. I wish they would do another one because we didn't get to meet Lena! I missed the one last January. I really hope to get a chance to meet her.

No problem Gary, it's half the fun meeting fans like you! And I've had some bad experiences meeting some rude folks at events, so when you meet fans who appreciate the show and other fans, it just makes it all the more fun.

Are you going to the Dallas Frightfest con where Lena's appearing or Comic Con (in the hopes that she'll appear!) so you can possibly see her then? I'm trying to make both those events.

I most likely will go to Comic Con this year. TSCC would be the main reason I'd go, assuming they get a third season I'm sure they'll be there again.

This would be my first year going. I better get a ticket. I assume TSCC would be there on Sunday again, if they do go.

Oh my mistake, looks like they were there on Saturday last year. It would probably be best to buy tickets for both Sat and Sun, just in case.
