I did. It's not quite the holy grail of nicotine delivery I'd hoped it would be, but it is pretty cool. It's fatter than a cigarette (maybe more like a Camel Wide) and heavier, so you can't really hold it the same way. So far, I've really just kind of played around with it and used it in place of a few cigarettes here and there.
I'm still trying to get a groove with it — figuring out how often and how deeply you need to puff on it to get enough nicotine. When you suck in enough vapor, you can feel it sort of hit your throat, but you really don't feel it hit your lungs like a cigarette. So I have this problem with believing it's actually giving me what I need. Hard to explain that, it's more of a psychological thing. If you smoke, maybe you know what I mean. I had that same problem with nictotine lozenges. Hmm... I don't feel like a need a cigarette, but it's been a while, so I must need one. Stupid addiction.
The starter set comes with 5 cartridges of varying strengths and even though I smoke ultra light cigarettes, I started with the "medium" strength (supposed to by like a light cigarette). It seems to be a good choice. I just finished up the first cartridge. NJOY says each cartridge is about a 1/2 pack of cigarettes, but on message boards, people say it's more. My brother did some math and determined it's about as much nictotine as 1 pack. So who knows. And speaking of my brother, he was eager to try it out and liked it so much he just ordered one for himself.
Oh, the flavor is a little weird. You can buy flavored cartidges (I have vanilla to try next), but the regular "tobacco" flavor is kind of sweet and funky. The flavor seems to get weaker as you use the cartridge, though, so I didn't mind it at all once it diminished some.
