Simply organic computers? There are plenty who would disagree with that, including me. Binary logic underlying it? Now, as a matter of fact, that's certainly not true (your claim is perhaps, it can be successfully emulated using a finite state machine working on binary logic).

Unless you're a believer in Intelligent Design you need to re-think your remark, "Our emotions do serve a function or we wouldn't have them in the first place." That is not true. I know people don't understand Evolution, all my friends ask me about it because I'm the one with the Biology Degree, and it never ceases to amaze me how hard is it to explain that Evolution is change, no more and no less. There is no "serve a function," or "purpose," or "design" excepting in our post hoc rationalization about what we think we see. There is no "good" or "better" just different. Go read all your Richard Dawkins books again, only pay more attention this time.

Kyle in T1:
"It can't be bargained with... it doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
Jeez, I'm beginning to think I'll have to throw in with Jesse and her boys against the metal-lovers. Come back Jesse, I love you.
